Ashfield Clonminch

This development of 19 bungalows was completed on behalf of Oaklee Housing & Offaly Co. Co. in 2023 to include a mix of 1 & 2 bedroom fully accessible & independent-living houses and is an excellent example of community-making through design.  The layout of the houses, all positioned around the central and beautifully landscaped green area, ensures that all residents benefit from daily interaction with their neighbours and their community.  Planted areas to the front of the houses provide individuality, the raised communal planter beds reflect the bespoke design for this elderly community, and the internal designs facilitate user flexibility.  The quality of the materials and the elevational treatments delivered creates an imaginative collection of houses.
