Located on the bank of the River Nore in the heart of Kilkenny City, immediately adjacent to the Protected Structure of Green’s Bridge, and with views to Kilkenny Castle, St. Francis’s Abbey, and St. Canice’s Cathedral this complex and prominent site required a house befitting its surroundings.  Sitting comfortably in this context this certified Passive House maximises city views with the living spaces to the first floor and wrap around terraces.  Cantilever overhangs and an inset structure facilitate floor-to-ceiling full length glazing, shelter, and a compact form.
